Abstract:
Album contains over 130 photographs, sketches, and clippings, mainly images of the western desert and Libya, Egypt, and some
of Jerusalem, apparently taken by a British soldier (most likely RAF officer) who was also associated with a theatre troupe.
Includes photos of military vehicles and aircraft, skirmish aftermaths, scenery and monuments (Sphinx, pyramids), local peoples,
and a section of United Services Concert Party photos, featuring performers in costume, some in blackface. Also includes two
photos of German Field Marshal Rommel and one of Churchill.
